Trading Forex Signals 24 - 7

Forex Signals that meet the requirements of a trading strategy are usually a welcome sight, but many trade these setups on impluse and find they are lured into a time trap that lets them down unexpectedly.

The result is that the unsuspecting trader then begins to question everything he knows or has learnt about trading, the mind goes in a conflict and he is not very sure of his strategy or trading method anymore.

To put it bluntly, if your trading method resembles something like a programmed machine, then rest assured, your trades could let you down at certain times of the day…why is that you ask?

Remember earlier in this site, I suggested that you study the behaviour of the instruments that you propose to trade regularly.

You may find for argument sake that the market shows you a perfect setup, with Forex signals tempting you to take that trade… only to find that when you do, it all goes horribly wrong and it then dawns on you, that Forex market activity at this time of the day is almost “dead” and the best analysed trade in this case is useless and ends up in a loss.

It is important to have a good understanding of the markets you trade, and to know their behaviour at different times of the day, that is if you are an intraday trader.

What would be the best Forex trading hours and when must you refrain from trading is an important factor for a successful outcome.

Another time to keep your hands off trading is at the first hour of the market opening (applies to stocks), when market makers are just staggering into work with coffee and tea in one hand and a newspaper in the other.

I find that most Forex signals like seen in the chart above go into an almost sleep mode after 18:00 hours here in the UK, so a seemingly good looking trade that appears at or around this time might not appeal to your expectations and could let you down.

In other words, what I mean by this is, you may find that your trading strategy, which usually has a high success rate does not perform at all at this time of the trading day, and could only help you to donate to the market fund... be warned!

This information is definitely not something that the art of technical analysis would reveal, it is something that one would acquire with experience and studying the instruments concerned.
